Responding to Solicitors Letter Regarding Design Copyright

We have received a letter from a Solicitors office about a competitor who sells a fashion item (women's dress) which is similar but not identical to ones which we sell. They are claiming that UK and community unregistered design rights to this design. In addition, they are claiming they own the copyright to images of Celebrities which may or may not be wearing their design but which we have been using to market our product.
We are looking for someone to read the document they have sent us and comment on the various actions they are trying to dupe us into performing.
