Construction lawyer

We seek an experienced construction attorney to draft two essential contracts for our growing firm. The first is an employment agreement for an architectural studio to formally hire an architect. This contract must clearly define the scope of work, payment terms, intellectual property provisions, and any non-compete restrictions following termination of employment.

The second contract is between our company serving as the main contractor and independent subcontractors we engage for projects. This subcontractor agreement needs to delineate responsibilities, establish clear guidelines for payments, safety requirements, insurance obligations, default provisions, and disputes resolutions processes. The attorney should draw from prevalent industry standards and tailor the language and terms to suit our business needs.

Applicants should have a minimum of five years of practice experience in construction law. Familiarity with architecture, engineering and contracting in the commercial real estate industry is preferable.
