Remote Accountant – Design & Engineering Firm

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant (Remote) to manage the financial operations of our design and engineering firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update all financial records remotely
Prepare and issue quotations, invoices, and receipts
Record all income and expenses accurately
Acknowledge receipt of payments and update accounts
Monitor accounts receivable and send payment reminders to clients
Follow up on outstanding payments professionally
Manage accounts payable and supplier payments
Perform bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements
Track expenses and manage petty cash records
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in VAT filing
Maintain organized digital records and documentation
Coordinate with management on financial updates and reporting

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting (preferably with consultancy/design firms)
Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Highly organized and able to work independently
Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks remotely

Location: Remote (UAE-based preferred)
