Hi,
My business has been established for 8+ years, and I use an accountant to prepare the Statutory Accounts and Personal Returns (they are brilliant, but 'old school'), therefore:
- I would like to get everything from the last 6 months (since Apr y/e) uploaded onto QuickBooks or Xero, plus a brief instruction on how to complete any day-to-day activities.
- In addition, as of earlier this year I became VAT registered (much of the work is zero-rated), and this needs totally tidying up.
- While the turnover in the business is relatively high (£3-500k), this is only via a small number of invoices (1-2 per month), and lots of small expenses to keep track of.
- There are no employees in the company, though a couple of items like loans (to and from) just to add in - but again nothing overly complicated.
- Ideally, after an initial set-up, which is probably a couple of days work, then there would be some assistance once every couple of months just to tidy everything up, and complete any VAT returns etc if appropriate.
Would suggest that a face-to-face support over the initial period might be easiest, but not essential.
