The consultant sells card merchant services to small independent retailers, restaurants, bars and hospitality businesses across Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cumbria. Prospective leads must be located within this region.
The role involves identifying and qualifying potential clients that could benefit from the consultant's payment processing solutions. Once vetted, qualified prospects would then be scheduled for initial consultative meetings with the consultant to discuss their payment needs and determine fit for the services offered. The goal is to book regular consultations and generate new business opportunities.
Effective lead generation requires thorough online and offline research to target the most suitable client profiles. Prospects must be properly screened and profiled. Setting appointments requires persuasive communication skills to grab prospects' attention and convince them of the value of an initial discussion. Performance metrics like appointment-to-meeting conversion rates and new client acquisition will be tracked.
This is a remote independent contractor role with flexibility around hours. The current focus is on generating quality leads and bookings within the consultant's coverage area in Northwest England. Successful execution may lead to an ongoing monthly assignment to fuel continued business development. Candidates should have proven experience and success in similar lead generation, appointment setting or sales development roles.
