Scope of Work – Structural Engineering Opinion

Review the photographs, plans and other documents provided and prepare a brief written opinion as to whether the renovation works constitute a structural alteration or an alteration of the structure of the lot.

The opinion should state whether, based on the documents reviewed, the renovation works involve any structural alteration or alteration of the structure of the apartment.

Deliverable: A concise signed engineering letter (approximately one page) setting out the engineer’s opinion.

This scope is deliberately limited to a desktop review and a one-page opinion, which should help keep the fee to a minimum.
