Description
Insight Lab Co is seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain our computer systems and provide technical support to our staff. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues and resolving network problems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users. You will also be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, maintaining inventory, and providing user training when necessary.
Responsibilities
Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Train users on basic system functionalities and troubleshoot issues
Maintain records of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules
Support the roll-out of new applications and devices
Requirements
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile platforms
Knowledge of networking principles and protocols
Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
