Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
I have a spreadsheet which I currently use to analyse Helpdesk data but have come to the limits of what my own technical skill can achieve with a single Excel spreadsheet and would like much more to happen. I began to develop a database but despite having studied Visual Basic for two years, found it difficult to get into from a relationship standpoint.
Ideally, I am looking for someone that would be willing to enter into direct communication, either by telephone or some form of instant messaging so as to develop and collaborate on adapting and expanding our current spreadsheet into a fully functional database with user friendly GUI and further functions that are a daily feature of our helpdesk.
Main features:
Analysis of entries per department/agent/error
Easy import of daily stats (calls logged/closed/dispatched)
Easy entry of assigned tickets (dispatch) from our web queue by type (Incident, task, email) and across two primary helpdesks, International and United States.
Password on most areas but dispatch open to t2 agents.
As you can probably already tell, this is a fairly complex scenario and one which I would have to get 100% right before reporting to my IT director, therefore I would definitely like to talk it over with a developer before beginning the project.
Please let me know what your thoughts are so far.
