Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
An social enterprise/charity developed an innovative Community Youth Food Project Proposal several years ago. They would like keep the project framework, general concepts, and premise but adapt the theme, target audience, update the supporting research data for evidence of need, update output methods to incorporate physical with digital/virtual delivery and finally incorporate connection with a local food market.
They key changes which will affect the whole proposal are:
1.Project was initially about training Young Food Advocates - to empower young food advocates to promote healthy food awareness amongst their peers. This will change to training Community Heritage Food Advocates (all ages)
2. Aim and focus was previously to promote healthy eating and exercise- this will change to promotion of food as part of community heritage, promoting local markets and economy, promoting fresh cultural food and cooking fresh food, and how all the above promotes health. And finally food as a way of connecting, communicating across cultures and how this relates to migrant communities.
3.Updating the research data to support need according key points above. Eg. Benefits of purchasing local, cooking fresh, food as heritage.
4.The project will be open and free to local people as before - however to develop a sustainable model Part of the cooking sessions and market tours will open to visitors, guests for a charge
5. All the outputs should be adapted to be delivered virtually in addition to physically
The above are just a few points for adaptation which then feeds into a revised budget and structure to the original proposal.
We foresee this taking about 1 week to complete.
