XLS spreadsheet auto updating (from one to another)

I have two MS Excel spreadsheets. The first is supplied by my supplier (called Supplier_Master_sheet) with two sets of costs (Trade ex VAT, and Retail inc VAT) plus a common reference column (called v_vendors_prod_id). The second sheet is the shop sheet (called shop_sheet_to_update). This has the same reference column as the first sheet (called v_vendors_prod_id), plus many other columns, two being empty (Trade ex VAT, and Retail inc VAT).

I need a way of updating the second sheet from the first (just the Trade ex VAT, and Retail inc VAT columns) .

The issue is that both sheets have unique lines that do not appear in the opposite sheet, so takes for ever to match each row up (there are around 3,000 or more lines

I am working with MS Excel 2002, so any macros etc. need to be compatible with my software please.
