I am looking for a virtual/remote assistant to help with customer service and business admin for my small online video production equipment business.
Duties:
• Being available to answer phones Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm GMT. There would usually be 2-10 brief calls per day. A voip phone (which simply plugs into your router or connects to your wifi) can be provided if you do not already have one. Phone calls will usually be customer enquiries, which will generally be about order status or product enquires (usually you would either just need to take a message and email it to me or look up their order status).
• Answering customer emails (approximately 2-10 per day). Some of these questions will simply be a case of copying and pasting answers from a template, others will require looking up an order status, for anything else, you can call me to discuss a suitable answer.
• Other general business admin on an ad-hoc basis, such as researching competitor pricing etc.
The candidate will need excellent spoken and written English skills.
The job would usually involve 2-3 hours of work per day, but you would need to be available to take calls and check emails for the majority of the entire working day.
I would like to pay per hour of work, with the assistant keeping a time sheet of how time is spent over the course of the day.
Any background knowledge in video production or photography would be a bonus, but is not essential.
