As a freelance conference producer, you will be working closely with our Event Manager to assist with research, planning, administration and delivery of a series of three International Mobile Games Conferences to be held in:
• London - 13th and 14th January 2015
• San Francisco - 11th and 12th May 2015 (dates not confirmed)
• Helsinki - 7th and 8th September 2015
We have already successfully staged the London and Helsinki conferences in 2014 and are looking to add the San Francisco event to the series for 2015.
A large part of the role is liaising with suppliers globally and negotiating best price for event services. It also included a high level of administration and general event marketing tasks using our in house systems including trello, event brite and mailchimp, wordpress. We expect a high level of client/account management when liaising with sponsors and partners in the run up to and the delivery of the events.
This role is suited to super keen, freelance individual who has previously delivered international business conferences and is able to manage their own time and work on their own initiative. The aim is for this individual to work alongside the Event Manger to assist in the development of our conferences to become the best series of Mobile Games Conferences in the world!
The role will involve overseas travel to the locations listed above. Please also note this is a home based position and access to a PC/Laptop and stable internet connection is essential to undertake this role. The Company will cover the cost of any work related travel, hotel telephone calls and other role specific expenses to be agreed in advance with your line manager. There will also be regular face to face meetings with the team in suitable locations within the UK.
