Excel spreadsheet and formula specialist

I require an experienced Excel professional to help automate data manipulation and reporting across multiple spreadsheets for inventory and purchasing functions. Formulas will need to be devised to extract relevant information from the primary transactional spreadsheets tracking stock levels and orders, before compiling this data automatically into summary reports and dashboards.

The core tasks will involve linking to and querying other workbooks to pull through the necessary values and fields on a regular basis.

Knowledge of Excel's more sophisticated features such as Power Query, Power Pivot and macros will be advantageous for their transformation and aggregation capabilities. The aim is to minimise manual data transcriptions and provide live, interactive management reporting tools for inventory levels, purchasing trends, supplier lead times and other such measures. Applicants should have extensive hands-on experience designing and maintaining complex Excel solutions for clients, with proven skills in dissecting requirements, designing optimal formulas and presenting solutions in a clear manner.
