Excel Match Column Format Solution

We use an excel based form to check output from a website that issues insurance policies to make what is being issued has the correct forms on it. It is a column to column compare and match. The issue we are having is the web site has spacing or different character output and when we paste the form numbers into a column for comparison we get a false indicator sometimes despite the result being true.
