Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have 500-1000 vinyl records and CDs in my personal collection to be listed for sale on ebay.
Standard item descriptors (e.g., artist, title. format, duration, UPC, marketer/label, release date, country, condition, weight, genre, images, price) and existing listing template are to be populated with data/images available from online databases/repositories and/or provided by seller.
Items can be listed individually or in bulk, e.g., using ebay turbo lister. Most items -- particularly music CDs -- will be priced in $5-15 range and quickly/easily processed using publically accessible data and stock images. Fewer items -- particularly collectible vinyl records from 1970s-1980s -- will be priced in $10-50+ range and will require actual product images which seller will provide via email, FTP/cloud transfer, or flash drive.
Objective is to list (or create drafts in some cases for) the bulk of items within a 7-10 day period working intensively to achieve "production" economies, completing the job efficiently, accurately, priced appropriately to generate sales. This is a short term opportunity, with flexible hours.
Plan is to ramp quickly up learning curve via a few dozen common "easy" retail music CDs, and transition asap to listing several hundred more valuable vinyl records.
See examples of seller's current ebay listings at https://www.ebay.com/sch/media-channel/m.html?_ipg=200&_sop=16&_rdc=1
Work requires PC with high speed internet access and can be conducted from any location. Experience listing items and selling on ebay is helpful and preferred, not required. References required.
Seller is a hobbyist (not a professional seller) based in NE Seattle, who has been selling items on ebay in small quantities for years, and who wants to more quickly monetize his music collection and cut back/save physical space in his home.
Work does not involve customer service or packaging/shipping sold items.
