Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have a spreadsheet with 200,000 rows of data.
They contain auction sale prices from 1999 to 2020.
The data has been scrapped and placed in a single column seperated by semi colons.
The cell contains the auction item;; the price achieved;; the date of the auction;; the date the data was retrieved.
I need this data to be moved into 4 seperate cells and then a formula added to the sheet to allow each of these prices to be inflated to todays value based on inflationary rate on each year up to todays date.
The sale prices are from 1999 to 2018.
The inflation rates must be accurate and your source for the percentage used clearly explained.
This should be a relatively simple task for someone with relatively good understanding of excel and economic data. Please only apply if you are familiar.
