Hi,

We are a Bristol based freight forwarder (we organise transport movements for our customers through Europe). We are the middle man and sub contract all of our work out to European transport companies.

I are trying to create a excel sheet/database that would allow us to look for the right supplier, in the right country, offering the service we require.

For example:

We need to move 1 pallet from Austria to the UK. So we need to find an Austrian haulier in our database, we then need to know that they deliver to the UK, then we need to know if the services they offer suits our requirements.

So far I have been saving contacts in email folder (example: Austria - GB).

I was hoping there would be a way we could streamline this to allows us to find the most suitable transport company for our customers?

    Sounds like you need an Access Database, rather than Excel. This would allow you to better interrogate your data.
