Copying and Pasting from Word Docs into Adobe Indesign Template 1000-1500 Pages

We have a pre-made Adobe Indesign template which includes character styling. We are looking for someone familiar with Adobe InDesign to copy the contents of word documents into adobe indesign and style the text using the set styles.

Purpose: To copy the content of word documents into Adobe InDesign and style according to our style guide to create a book for printing.

Requirements: The task involves copying text from multiple word documents into an adobe indesign document and then styling the test in accordance with our style guide.

Desirable Criteria: The candidate must have a copy of Adobe Indesign and Microsoft Word and be familiar with using Adobe Indesign.

Our style guide simply requires the user to highlight text and click on the pre-made character sets to style the document (much like selecting and clicking ‘bold’) together with putting certain text in boxes, adding tables and placing images copied from the word documents.

The text has 36 chapters, each chapter is between 20-30 pages in word docs. The text contains images and tables. The total page count is estimated to be between 1000-1500 pages in length. We have done the first few pages and created an indesign book file with all chapters and styling prepared.
