Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Industry: Healthcare
Kind of support: Employee Relations
Description of support work: We are a new company and have 2 offices. Both offices are losing money but one is doing better than the other.
There is a bit of blame culture starting and people not all working together.
I want to send a letter to the team praising everybody for their hardwork and telling them how negative vibes are destructive. We want people to discuss and find ways over problems and mistakes and learn from them. And be proud of the brand
Extra notes: The opposite of a blame culture is a problem solving culture. In a problem solving culture people feel able to offer ideas, highlight issues, put suggestions forward. When something goes wrong, the question is "How did that happen and what can we do about it?" The difficulty with blame cultures is that people often begin to fear being blamed. They stop taking risks, making suggestions or trying things new. When that happens, the pace of change and improvement slows down and the organisation ceases to offer anything new to its customers.
