Hi Everyone,
I am looking for some help to speed up the importing of our clothing inventory into Quickbooks. Currently I am setting up an item, duplicating it and then modifying things like barcodes and sizes. I am looking for someone to either:
a) Take over the duplicating of the items (I would set up one item for each of the main items and then I would need someone to duplicate them to enter the relevant size / barcode info)
b) Take our data feeds and set up an import process. I am happy to supply the data as is, or reformat it to match an import template. The latter would be preferable.
Attached is an example of the data that we have for one of our brands. And also some screenshots showing how the data ended up in Quickbooks. Please note the way the data has been loaded as subitems and also the fact that the barcode goes into the custom field.
We use Quickbooks 2010 so any work done would need to work in that environment.
What I am interested in hearing is how you would work with the sample data supplied. E.g. duplicating the items or import process and also the cost for getting this batch of data into Quickbooks.
We have lots of items and brands to work on over the coming weeks, so if we can find the right, cost effective partner, I would be very interested in making this more of a long term solution.
Thanks very much for reading.
