Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi,
Looking for an experienced Lawyer who can give advice and guidance on the next stages of a contract between 3 parties. One party is the client in this case.(third party). The other 2 parties are me and my business partner, who both have vested interests and would like advice on the best way to proceed further, and the best contract or contracts to write up to ensure those interests are met. At the moment there are 2 options or routes we are discussing and it would be good to have some insight into the matter.
We would like guidance and advice on the following matters.
-A contract has been drafted, however, we would like to know if this is the best set up or if another route should be taken. I.e what would be better for what we want option 1 or 2.
-Is the first contract or set of contracts legally binding (option 1). would the second contract (option 2) be legally binding. Basically the legal security of the contract in question.
-General insight help or advice regarding the contract. regarding general contract law and also with regard to what we are trying to agree with the third party.
In a simple nutshell. The contract is a commision based referral scheme. The third party will pay me and my business partner a commission on all business we generate. However, there is more to it.
Ultimately we are looking for a lawyer with the necessary proficiency to listen to what both me and my business partner want from the agreement and advice on the best course of action. What we want from the agreement itself with the third party and if it is solid. While also ironing out or giving an insight into what we have already drawn up or will be drawing up.
I am likely to need business lawyers again in the future so it would be good to talk.
Many Thanks
