Description

Hello,
We can export CSV files from our business online banking platform. The data comes already categorised in relation to its income / expenditure allocation. (We have created the categories on the banking platform.)
We would like this data to be pasteable each month into an Excel document that we would own. This data would then be read by the Excel sheet and create the following reports:
- Value of all income receipts in each category and Total income per month (a new Excel tab per month)
- Value of all expenditure receipts in each category and Total expenditure per month (a new Excel tab per month)
- Total value of all income receipts in each category and grand totals for the year to date (Tab 1 for the year to date figures)
- Total value of all expenditure receipts in each category and grand for the year to date (Tab 1 for the year to date figures)
In each report we need:
- Income/Expenditure category total as a % of total for the month or the grand total for year to date
- Income/Expenditure category increase or decrease from that of the previous month total
- The year to date's Average total Income/Expenditure per category per month
- Income/Expenditure category increase or decrease from that of current monthly average
- Line chart showing revenue lines versus expenditure lines in all categories (and total) over the year to date
A sample export of our Banking data is attached. It includes all the categories that we currently use.
We need to be able to ensure we can do the following in future, though:
- Easily edit/update the Category labels of the 'pasted data' so that the reports are updated
- Easily add further categories if we need to
I hope that the above is clear. We'll look forward to working with you.
Regards, Rob
