We are looking for someone who has spreadsheet (specifically Google Sheets) expertise to use data from existing Google Sheets spreadsheets to build a new financial reporting spreadsheet.
Existing Google Sheets expertise is required.
** FULL BRIEF **
* Background *
A financial reporting spreadsheet is needed for an Office food station business. The business delivers weekly food orders to clients.
Each client has multiple “Stations” (e.g. Floor 1, Floor 2) at their office and itemised SKU data and cost is available for each station in each order.
* Purpose *
To enable management to easily get sales and financial reports in and set of analyses.
* Required output *
The following should be a spreadsheet report, built in Google Sheets:
- Ability to get all reports on daily/weekly/monthly/customized period formats
- Total sales breaking down by SKUs
- Total costs of goods sold (COGS) broken down by skus
- Sales per SKU breaking down by Customer
- COGS per unit
- Sales per customer breaking down by SKU
- Profit per SKU and total
- Profit per Client and total
- Graphic and numeral presentation over time
- Ability to graphically see which is the most sold SKU over certain period overall and by client
- Please see examples of the financial report in the doc “report structure”
- Reports to be updated automatically when related sheets are updated, so no need to prepare them at the end of the month
* Other required aspects *
- Linking to / “importing” data from existing Google Sheets, to bring in order data, SKU COGs etc.
- COGS will change as new stock is ordered / altered. We need some system / oversight to ensure that the right - COGS data is used for the right time frames
- Controlled access (read-only and full editing) for individual users
- Clear headlines
- Clean, modern presentation of sales reports
* Existing Source Data Spreadsheets *
- Google Sheet containing a log, row by row, of all station orders, with SKUs, dates, company and cost for that station order
- A master Google Sheet containing all SKUs, with price, COGS etc. at SKU level
