Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
We are a leading supplier of identity and access control products including lanyards, holders, card printers, card management software and all related consumables in a variety of different markets from events, healthcare, education, construction, banking and the private sector. We do also offer a bureau service where a customer can outsource the printing either on small or large jobs.
We are looking for a strong telesales/telemarketing candidate to work with us starting ASAP and on an ongoing basis, we envisage it being between 10-12 hours per week in the first instance but if we can see a strong return on investment then we would be happy to see this increase.
We have a number of databases including known users of our product, tepid leads from previous exhibitions, dormant customers and speculative potential customers we would like to be supplying – the marketplace is massive and basically includes anyone who use plastic cards!
Our approach will always be unscripted but within a framework to try and identify opportunities for us to provide a quotation or, with large opportunities (£10k+), to setup a meeting on site.
Whilst specific industry experience is not required, you will need to be able to grasp the concept quickly and be able to communicate confidently with the potential customer and to gather enough information for one of our sales people to quote or make contact without the customer having to re-clarify the same details.
I would like to get an understanding of how you work, any relevant experience you have and what would make you a strong contender for the role. Please also give an indication of your hourly rate and how you would manage reporting of calls - we do have an online CRM for call logging and marketing and reporting. Please also give any other supporting information with your application (preferred hours and days of work, location, training and onboarding requirements etc).
Please take a look at our website www.idcardcentre.co.uk to get an idea of what we do.
The first stage of the process would be to answer the above and then I would want to carry out a telephone interview and get an idea of your typical approach on the phone.
