Description
Experience Level: Expert
Background - my company is a micro business selling a range of popular sand art products which are supplied to Schools and School PTA's (B2C), also i supply (B2B) UK market which comprises of; visitor attractions, Zoo's, animal parks and small businesses/ traders. Please see my current UK website at www.crazysand.com
My current split of UK sales turnover is 50% schools and 50% Commercial (visitor attractions/businesses etc).
Outside the UK i will not be targeting schools, only (B2B) trade/businesses. (This may have implications of how to set out website/s for both UK and other European countries).
My aim is to target more of the B2B market in both the UK and other European countries, and i would like to work along side someone who can provide some mentoring advise in the following areas below.
- Mentoring advice on how to do Business to Business, my UK company selling into rest of Europe, mainly Germany, France, Spain and Italy (and others)
- Mentoring on how to set out my commercial brochures for these markets (see attachments of current UK commercial brochure).
- Mentoring on how to price my UK trade prices into Euros, (not just on exchange rate) pricing right for those markets, and consideration of delivery charge from UK (should i amortise this cost?).
- Mentoring on Getting paid and what methods of payment to offer. Should i offer credit or not, would not offering credit be a barrier to dealing with some businesses? Could giving credit be a viable option to some clients, ability to recover monies owed if i go down this route. How are other UK businesses dealing with this issue (especially UK small or micro businesses)?
- Advise & mentoring on setting up website/s in various languages, new website/s or just do translations of existing website with ability to add different pricing and currency etc. What would be best for me, start from scratch or add to my existing website?
- Advise/mentoring on making it easy for trade customers to buy and focusing my website more on the business to business market (especially outside the UK)
- Best way to approach the European customers i am targeting which are visitor attractions, zoo's and animal parks, theme parks etc. (same way as i have in UK or different?)
- Domain names and trade marks can also be discussed as apart of this project and would be relevant to the website decisions made.
- Anything i have not considered?
My budget is flexible depending on the expertise and experience you have.
Your questions are welcome, and i look forward to hearing from you.
