Both my partner and myself are in the mist of registering our new limited company. We have never setup a business before so new to all this. We are looking for a qualified accountant to provide support, advice and managing our account.
Currently there is only 2 shareholders, no other employees, turning over roughly £60k a year. We will be working from home not at an established office.
Ideally this what we are looking for (this may not cover everything):
- Completion of annual statutory accounts including filing at Companies House
- Completion of an annual self assessment for two director
- An income statement showing what income and costs have been and what profit (or loss) have made, from the amounts we have entered
- A Balance Sheet
- Completion of your Corporation Tax and VAT returns (depends if we need to register VAT)
- PAYE processing for 2 employees (ourselves but not sure whether this will be necessary) at the primary threshold including the completion of the Employer Annual return
- On line email and telephone support throughout the year to address any questions you may have about our accounts
We need a lot of advice on how to best to structure our accounts, understanding tax, what software to use, what you will require from us end of each year when filling for tax. Advise on claiming expenses, what can be claimed back and what cannot be. Whether to take a salary or just dividends? So we have a lot of questions to ask.
You must be based in the United Kingdom and operate your business here. No international accountants please. You must be familiar with the UK law and tax services and have experience in this field.
