Description
I want to be able to upload into the tool up to 20 pricefiles that contain cost prices and product codes
From here i want to be able to load in a design of an office space that often contains a mix of product such as desks, chairs, soft seating, meeting furniture, etc.
I want the tool to then give me a proposed product list for certain budget levels. So it will scan the price files and pull out the most suitable items that match the design and build a quote that achieves the overall target price.
If it can then produce a final itemised list includes coding and cost prices that could be loaded into something like quickbooks that would be great also.
How we get the AI software to recommend products based on image i don't know but i tested this quickly with Grok by uploading a 3D design and telling it to give me a list of products from one manufacturer and it did it. I assume by scanning the manufacturers website? No idea but hopefully this gives some sort of insight into what i want to create

Hi Greg,
The concept is technically feasible, but the scope involves several distinct components: importing and normalising up to 20 supplier price files, interpreting the office design, matching furniture categories to available products, optimising selections against target budgets, and generating an itemised quote with product codes and costs.
Before we recommend the right build route, could you confirm whether the £250 budget is a placeholder and you are open to a budget that reflects the full working scope, or whether you expect the complete tool to be delivered within £250? -

Could you let me know what format your supplier price files are in (Excel, CSV, PDF, or another format)?

What formats will the office designs be provided in? For example, 2D floor plans (PDF/DWG), 3D renders, SketchUp/Revit models, or static images. This will determine the most accurate computer vision and AI pipeline.
