Hi Rhys,
Thanks for sharing the project! I have a few quick questions:
1. Are the invoices PDFs, scanned images, or a mix of both?
2. Are they all from the same supplier/template, or are there multiple invoice layouts?
3. Which fields do you need extracted into Excel (e.g., invoice number, date, supplier, line items, totals)?
4. Do you already have the ServiceM8 import template, or should we format the Excel file to match it?
5. Is this a one-time import, or are you looking for a reusable Python script for future invoices?
Looking forward to your reply. -

Hello Rhys, how many different invoice variations do you have and in what format do you have them? Are they all PDF files? Nobody would be able to provide a quote for such a job without seeing a few representing samples so I would also like to advise you to edit the job post and attach a few samples.

Could you share one sample invoice and the list of fields you need extracted (e.g., invoice number, date, supplier, line items, totals, VAT)? That will let me confirm the extraction process and turnaround time.

Hi Rhys, I can accurately extract the data from all 300 invoices into an Excel spreadsheet. Would manual extraction be acceptable, or do you specifically require a Python-based automated solution?

One question before I confirm the turnaround: are the 300 invoices mainly searchable PDFs generated digitally, or do they include scanned documents and photographs from multiple wholesalers?
