Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We're looking for an efficient and experienced virtual PA to work from their own home in a customer service role for our Personal Chef Service.
The perfect virtual PA for us will:
* Pay very close attention to detail and take pride in remembering clients' appointment information, dates, names etc
* Have excellent computer skills, with many years of experience using Word, Excel, email packages and the internet. (Typing speed >50wpm)
* Have a polite and clear telephone manner.
* Be confident using their own initiative and problem solving, without much hand-holding.
Some experience in SEO and copy writing would be advantageous.
We'd like someone to start around mid-October and the contract will initially run until mid-January, with a break over Xmas/New Year and the potential for an extension depending on performance.
The work will be approx 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, split down to 90 mins in the morning (anytime after 9am) and 90 minutes in the afternoon (finishing before 5pm). You decide what time you work (within these limits).
The majority of the time will be spent:
* Responding to email and telephone enquiries from clients about dinner parties and private cooking lessons with our team of chefs across the UK. We are currently adding a 'live chat' feature to our website which will require you to respond immediately to client questions through the website (typed answers, not on the phone). This will require fast, accurate typing.
* Booking chefs for appointments and emailing them a brief.
* Discussing menus and recipes with chefs over the telephone.
There is a potential for some SEO and website work to also be included.
You will need to use your own computer and broadband and it may be easiest if you use your own phone for receiving business calls, but we can provide a mobile phone for you to use for the duration of the contract if it's more feasible. You would need to change your own voicemail to our company 'out of office' message if you were to use your own phone.
You will be given full information about the company, our services, prices and chefs before you start, as well as training and guidance 'on the job' for the first couple of weeks, after which time help will be available to you by email as and when needed.
