I am searching for the best Virtual Assistants in the UK to join my award winning team of VAs to provide PA & marketing support to UK businesses, with a focus on helping those businesses to grow & maximise their potential. I'm looking for experienced PAs or marketing assistants who have good knowledge of UK business and how it works, and who share my understanding of how efficient business support is crucial to the success of a business.
I am not looking for admin assistants who just want to do typing. I am looking for business support specialists who can hit the ground running and do anything and everything that is needed to help clients on their journey to business success, & offer advice and suggestions along the way. We have a broad range of skills within the team and are particularly looking for someone to fulfill a marketing assistant void. A lot of what we do focuses on helping business owners to implement marketing strategies so understanding of businesses and knowledge of things such as email marketing and social media is hugely beneficial.
My clients are typically entrepreneurs or growing small businesses, people who have a vision and desire to grow and develop to bigger things, so you must be able to handle people who work at a fast pace, who make lots of demands and expect high standards.
My ideal VA is fast, efficient and completely on the ball, has a thorough knowledge of UK business and experience of high level PA support, project management and/or marketing. It may suit a business or marketing graduate looking to use and refine their skills as well as develop new ones. You must be able to cope with the demands of extremely busy executives and be open to new ideas. There's no such word as can't in our team, so the person for this job will be a problem solver and enjoy finding the best solutions to a problem. You must also be available full time during business hours 9-5 Mon- Fri. Whilst the role can be flexible, it won't work around school hours. This is a crucial aspect of the job, please do not apply if you can't meet this criteria. For the right person, this will become a long term role and so I would prefer somebody who doesn't have ambitions of growing their own VA business.
Essential skills/requirements, you MUST be able/willing to do the following (if you have some but not all of the skills, that's fine as most of it can be taught and attitude is more important):
- Social media management (you need to understand Twitter and Facebook) - includes researching and writing social media content for clients
- Email campaign management (Mailchimp, Aweber etc.)
- CRM management (Zoho, SugarCRM, Infusionsoft)
- Infusionsoft -(knowledge of campaign building would be a distinct advantage) If you don't have this skill, you must be willing to learn
- Wordpress - you need a working knowledge of Wordpress and basic HTML
- You must be willing to take phone calls and make calls (no 'call handling' as such, but calls will transferred through to you as part of your 'PA' role) - this is essential, please don't bid if you don't want to talk on the phone.
- Spreadsheets - intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, you must be able to create and adapt client spreadsheets so that they work efficiently and are time saving (using pivot tables, formulae and data validation for example)
- Good standard of spelling and grammar
- Tech savvy - able to use modern software and pick up new technology quickly. This is important as technology is a big part of what we do.
- Access to fast broadband and computer with Microsoft Office
- Able to work completely on own initiative, take an idea and run with it.
- You also need to be able to offer advice and guidance where needed as to how best to implement organisational structures within a business - you will be the expert in this field.
I am looking for somebody to start now, with workload probably around 10-15 hours per week and there will be some training time involved. I expect there to be considerably more work available from September 2015. Suitable VAs will be asked to undertake a few trial tasks to verify your skills. If you are not willing to do this, please don't bid.
I am only searching for the absolute best people right now, whilst I don't bite, I do know exactly what I want and will not compromise on that.
