Publishing Support / Exec Assistant
**The role must be partly office based, but we would be happy to build in some remote working also. I would be very happy to discuss alternative flexible working for the right person.**
We are a medium size publishing and events company. We run various monthly, bi-monthly digital magazines, along with associated digital propositions and bi-annual reader events in our sectors. We produce and design our own content, sell our own advertising space and sponsorships and manage our own print and mailing.
We are in the process of re-shuffling our team. To support us in the new structure we need a strong Support/PA role filled. The role is a varied one - supporting a number departments with various support duties, in a fast-paced environment with an ever changing work flow and so is best suited to someone who is able to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
The role will include some telephone work, database management, email communication, telephone communication, using our CRM system to input and manage sales orders and manage the campaigns through to delivery, for example liaise with client for advertising copy – check copy is at the correct specification using a design software, and manage the campaign timetable and other administrative tasks as they arise. You will also need to be proficient with both excel and word packages.
A friendly and professional telephone and email manner is essential, along with a strong command of the english language and written word, fantastic problem solving and organisational skills, as well as the ability to use initiative and work autonomously once you're fully briefed on the project.
We would likely be looking for a fixed 12-16 hours per week (over 4 days) ongoing, with additional hours available on an ad-hoc basis if desired.
If you sound like you tick all of those boxes then please get in touch.
The role must be partly office based, but we would be happy to build in some remote working also. I would be very happy to discuss alternative flexible working for the right person.
Could suit a parent or post graduate student.
