Hi,
Not so sure about the category of this job - it's customer service but communicating with contractors too.
I've reached the point where I can't cope with the volume of tasks going through my business. Basically I need someone who knows their way around a wordpress dashboard (not a programmer - a competent user), is generally good with IT and can communicate well via email. So english must be your first language and timezone us/eu compatible. Seriously, those two things are vital... If you're good over the phone and available to schedule calls with my clients sometimes, that would be a bonus.
Your tasks would involve:
- translating clients' garbled instructions into clear tasks for my developers or designers
- answering support questions for clients on wordpress and custom built sites (I'll give you instruction on those) via email definitely and if possible phone
- finding gaps in clients' instructions & writing questions back to them
and possibly...
- helping write up specifications for projects
- helping write test schedules for projects
I really haven't tightly defined this job because I need help with a bunch of stuff & will be more inclined to turn things over to someone competent I can get along with rather than worry about exactly what I want to outsource...
In your response I'm going to be looking for evidence that you can use wordpress (ie got your own blog or have worked on someone elses) and that you can communicate (especially 'explain') things well.
If you're enthusiastic, reasonably IT savvy & good at explaining stuff then send me a proposal for 4hrs at 20gbp/hour & I'll find things for you to do for a while!
