An interior/exterior design based from our Plans
Hi there, We have some architectural plans for our bungalow which we hope to redevelop. We plan to completely redo the ground floor and to create a usable loft space where we will relocate a bedroom to. We also have plans to construct an integrated double garage to the side of the bungalow, We have a “contemporary/modern” theme in mind for our house, making use of natural wood colours inside, greys for the windows, a brand new bright kitchen with an island and making use of the sunlight to the rear of the property through loads of windows and sliding doors. We’d like a design so we are able to visualise how we want our house to look and to see if what we want would not “crowd” the little space we have. Our project is unique in that the property is 100 years old and we cannot extend any further than what we have approved in these plans. Currently, the bungalow is rendered a cream colour on the exterior, has standard white uPVC windows, has diamond shapes in the double-glazed windows, has standard red clay roof tiles, has the old wooden front door which is painted white, and has a patio door to the rear (in the dining room). Inside, we have a cherry colour wood floor everywhere. The kitchen is U shaped and has wall and floor cabinets. We have the original stone fireplace in the living room (which we’d prefer to utilise in the house). We want to keep the render exterior, change the windows to the in-colour of grey, have Georgian-style square shapes in the windows, change the roof tiles to concrete and grey colour, replace the front door with a oak wooden front door showing its natural colour, and sliding patio doors to the rear. Inside the property, we want a natural colour wooden floor on the ground floor, beige colour carpet in the loft. Large bathroom wall and floor tiles in a warm beige colour or grey. A modern/wooden staircase with glass separator and aluminium railing. We want the kitchen to have a nice long corner counter-top with a generous island using Calacutta Granite as the top with possibly a wooden base, Ideally, we do not want any wall hung cabinets. We want to use the rear of the garage as a “utility” area for the washer/dryer, boiler etc. We want the option of utilising the original fireplace somewhere in the new house but we are unsure how/where, Happy to give you more of a description as I can go on! Attached are the current plans, proposed ground floor and proposed loft plans Would you be interested in this project?

Contemporary Georgian Kitchen / dining extension
Looking to engage two designers to come up with ideas for a 50 sq meter extension on a 350 year old grade 2 listed building in northern England. We have around 25 square metres of dead space, complicated by the fact that there is a staircase into a cellar creating a pinch point to put a small relaxed dining table at the end of the island unit. We are looking for someone to design the space, with furniture, come up with a colour scheme for the walls, wall paper in old existing kitchen, ( which has minimal natural light , wall paper in the kitchen extension which is flooded with light due to the ambulance of glass used. Design and colour scheme of cushions to be made for the two large window seats, and other fixtures and fittings. It is likely we will commission someone to make the furniture per the chosen design. Probably much easier me sending WhatsApp video of the space, so you can see the space properly. There is also a wine cellar to design. That currently is a blank canvas having not been tiled yet. The only existing cellar had a brick floor, so we will be putting down brick slips.

I need elevations, floor & roof plans & axonometrics for 2 homes
Description: The site is a one-acre plot in our garden on which we seek consent for two houses. It is a level, edge of village site and looks out over open farmland. It is adjacent to a very poorly designed but relatively new 3-storey town house with single- and two-storey annexes and with a very complex roof. Background: We were granted consent for one house on this site (VWHDC P20/V1147/FUL ) in September last year. The application for that consent included shots of the local vernacular, drawing on our current home. Some more are attached, including a shot of the garage/store/annexes we aim to create. This year, we have sought to improve the consent, up from one to two houses. The house as consented has been moved south in the current application, to make room for a north house of a different design. That application ( P21/V1420/FUL) is still live, but it has been made clear by the planners that the roof of the north, square house needs redesigning to take bulk and complexity out of it, simultaneously making it look more traditional, more cottage/farmhouse-like. This means a withdrawal and re-application. The proposed outbuildings seem uncontentious so long as they are tied to the main houses by way of Section 106 agreements. I have worked on the elevations and produced line drawings (attached). Our planning consultant is unhappy with the quality of CAD from our current provider and he has provided an example (also attached) of the quality he is looking for. Brief: To prepare a full set of high-quality drawings (elevations, floor & roof plans, axonometrics - but excluding the block and location plans - for a fresh application for the two houses, their outbuilding and the car port for Wicks House (as per the design in the original consent). Floor plans to be as the current application but modified for use by a wheelchair user on the ground floor and to reflect any necessary changes to window placement. Georgian windows throughout. This means the following: For both houses, the floor plan layouts are fine, but will need some adjustments: - all internal ground floor and external doors are to be 900mm wide. - French door openings to be 1200mm. - porches to provide clear space within of 1200mm deep, 1600mm wide. - no internal or external thresholds or steps. - a tweaking of floor plans for door widths and window placement. For the north house, we need: - architectural input to roof design, if necessary/desirable. - ground floor windows to be 1100mm high. - first floor windows to be 900mm high. - ceilings to be 2300mm on both floors. I appreciate that the north and south first floor walls, internally, will be hipped but, as per my line drawings, but should provide 1.8m clear headroom at the wall interiors (see attached section). We are asking for confirmation of fee, delivery and examples of relevant previous work.
Translation from Georgian into English
I need to translate a birth certificate with apostille from Georgian into English. The certificate will be send direct to translator
I need a custom eye spy/where's Wally style poster.
I'm a student teacher who is working with a local museum to add some covid secure activities to their local history gallery. They would like an eye spy style sheet (similar to a where's Wally page) which children can use to search for artefacts they can also find in the museum. I have tried to design one, but my skills are limited! We'd like it to be based around a scene with a local landmark as the centre, and include figures from various historic eras. It would also need to include hidden objects which can be seen in the museum. In an illustration style. The Novium museum has examples of the artefacts on display, and we would be happy to provide pictures of things that might be included. Chichester is an historic market town with a cross at the centre. the cross has been a central element since medieval times so we would like to include figures in medieval, Tudor, Georgian and victorian attire. The museum has no budget, so as we will be financing ourselves, we would like to keep the cost as low as possible.
Regency/Georgian Romance Terms
I am looking for someone to write a list of commonly used phrases in regency/Georgian romance stories. Regency/Georgian Era Carriage Types clothing swearing, - (|dash it all etc) activities - taking the waters (where) etc etiquette – eg. chaperones any other terms associated with those periods each term needs a short explanation. Only enough to explain what it is, not a grammatically correct phrase eg Chaise - pleasure or travelling carriage, usually open with four wheels and drawn by one or two horses. All rights will belong to me once payment has been made.

Historic line illustration
We are making a touchscreen game for a visitor attraction which requires some new room view / activity illustrations in the style of a historic illustration (see briefing document). Essentially we need the view in to 7 different bathing pool / rooms from the Georgian Period (1790s) in England. Like - you've opened the door and what you'd see. All the baths are in rooms with curved or vaulted ceiling and all the baths are sunken. There will be either a single person in a bath or up to say, 6 people in the lager rooms / baths. We need accurate historical accuracy in terms of the architecture and clothing. You may need to do some research for visual references which will need me to validate. The briefing document has a room plan and 2 example rooms. You will need to use your imagination for the remaining rooms! Budget of £100 per illustration so a total of £700. Will need to see portfolio of work which demonstrates your ability to undertaken this work. We'd prefer the final outputs as black pen. Required by middle of December. Message me if you have any queries.

Corporate Identity / Branding / Logo
McCarthy Heritage Homes Ltd are a premium developer of new homes. We convert gorgeous period buildings that have had a different life - Say edwardian Manor House, Georgian Town House, Former rectory, hunting lodge or school into contemporary residential homes. We construct those homes using the finest materials, the highest levels of workmanship from time-served craftsmen, utilising the very latest technologies to make amazing spaces for the next century. We'd like a branding that reflects this approach - Contemporary design attention to detail, with a nod towards heritage. Please only apply if you "get" this - we're not looking for a re-hash of a library logo, we're looking for the logo you'll put on the first page of your portfolio! We're open minded about colour ways. We use a lot of charcoal and teal or pale lime in our interior design currently but that's just an idea that we are possibly open to in one of your designs. We are looking for at least 3 initial unique choices, which we'll then choose one to be worked up into the final branding. Thanks!

I need house extension calculator guide article
Headline: House extension calculator Tone: Technically water tight yet friendly, warm and extensive Word count: 1,000 Key Themes: - Neighbours who have done similar works are a great source of information - Calculating extension costs: typically upwards of £2,000 a square metre - Calculating refurbishment costs: Typically £1,000 a square metre - Calculating loft conversion costs: Typically around £2,000 a square metre - Calculating basement conversion costs: Typically around £3,500 a square metre - Area dependent e.g. conservation needs, soil type/ground work difficulties for foundations - Extension types: single storey, two storey, kitchen extension, living area, extra bedroom, anex - House types, semi-detached, detached, terrace, townhouse, bungalow, Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian, 30s/70s, new builds - Extension design ideas: wrap around the house, flat roof, pitched roof, glazing ambitions, doors (e.g. bifolds?) - Materials, finishes and specifications drastically change a quote: glass, steel, brick, concrete considerations - Typically extensions increase the value of a house but seek advice from an estate agent because it may not be the case if locally there is competition from other more desirable locations - Funding: remortgaging, loan, savings - Other costs to factor in: architectural costs, a contingency fund, building control costs, party walls - Timings: the faster you want/need works to finish, the more expensive and costly it becomes
