Floor plans from pdf to dwg format
I need to produce existing and proposed floor plans for two small business premises. I have the original as buit drawings in pdf format only. Are you able to take the pdf versions for Units 3 & 4 and draw them up in cad (i use draftsight) and then produce as existing and proposed floor plans for each? Many thanks, Luke
I need tweaks made to a simple shape
I am making a table which has an irregular shaped glass top. The top will be cut from a CAD file so the file I give the glass cutters needs to be perfect. The maximum dimensions of the top are 2450mm x 1600mm. I have designed the top using Fusion 360 and subsequently imported into DraftSight (as I needed to print it across several sheets of A0 paper to make a template) so I currently have it as a DWG file. The shape was created by me. I sketched it by hand and then traced it in Fusion 360. I'm no expert in CAD so I may have drawn the shape poorly or with too many/few points for splines. I guess I'm looking for someone who's good with splines really. I'd like someone to do the following tasks: 1. Make some small tweaks to the shape so that it flows a little better. Specifically the flatter side of the shape doesn't flow as well as the rest so it's that part that needs tweaking. 2. To just sanity check that the shape is smooth enough to be made into a large table top (and indeed check for any issues I may not be aware of). 3. Provide the final file as a DWG to be used by the glass company (I'm waiting for confirmation that a DWG is what they want so this could change). I'm assuming this is a very quick job (but please tell me if I'm mistaken). Cheers, Rob
Building Outline Drawing
GHPLANT is a small construction company building houses and doing extensions. We have a basic knowledge of CAD and use it for measurement etc but currently have a drawing we need to edit. An ideal arrangement would be to have assistance with the drawings of each project with a view to edit the drawings and improve our cad skil. Initial to edit an existing DraftSight drawing, And concurently do a tutorial specific to the particular drawing using anydesk and phone.
I need a floor lamp produced in Fusion 360
I need a floor lamp produced in Fusion 360. I'm training to design and make furniture and trying to learn 3D (Fusion 360) but my skills are lagging behind so I thought it would be sensible to outsource the part that I can't do. It may be fine to use a different 3D application but I am hoping to play around with it myself and assumed producing it in Fusion would make that easier. I'll certainly have more projects in the future and it would be useful to have a good relationship with someone to produce the 3D work as needed. I don't require any rendering, it's just the shape I'm looking to get right. I'll want to export this as a DWG file to use in Draftsight CAD as well but I assume that would be a standard thing anyway. The 3D work is being used as part of the design process, not manufacturing, so although dimensions will still need to be accurate for reference, they don't need to be exact. I would expect the project to be iterative, what you initially produce from the drawings will need to be tweaked as I evolve the shape. I've attached a sketch of the lamp and a few notes to help. Additionally I've a 3D model of a similar lamp, this is purely to help with understanding of the sort of shape I'm after, note the shape I'm after is still different. I've also my first attempt at creating the lamp in Fusion, this is really only for your amusement. I can't upload those files here but can provide them if we work together. Obviously happy to fill in any further details or answer questions as required. I don't have a particular deadline but am keen to get it quite quickly. I'd like to know your hourly rate, your estimate for drawing up the lamp initially from the drawing attached and your availability to do the work. Thanks, Rob EDIT: I've just uploaded a JPG of the sketch as well.
Urgent help with a DraftSight file
We have a simple DWG file from a client, and need some help understanding and creating some additional measurements and lines for a plan. Very simple i'm sure for someone in the know... The picture attached shows red dimensions from the client, our dimensions are coming up in white, totally wrong. We also need to add some positions and measurements from the positions to this drawing. Thanks
