UI/UX review and recommendations
We have a software product that is now 7 years old and needs a UI/UX review. Features are being continually added and extended and as a result the UX has evolved rather than being thought through holistically from the start. It's not always intuitive for a user how things work. The psychology of user interfaces has also moved on a lot and there is an opportunity include the latest thinking on how to make software more fun/rewarding to use (animations, rewarding popups etc.). We would like to get to the point where the software is positively a joy to use The primary goal of improving the UI is to increase user adoption. This would be measured in three ways (in order of importance): 1. Faster growth of the user base within existing customers 2. Feedback from existing users that the software is easier to use vs competitors 3. Better conversion of sales leads The product is deployed within Atlassian Confluence when a customer wants it to be fully user configurable. We have limited control over the UI of confluence but can write Themes. Obviously we have a lot of control over our add-ins. Attached are a few of screenshots - the 3rd screenshot shows the list of components that need to be assessed. The first screenshot is of a Chart, the second is of a KPI. There is a lot to it and the intention is to do this in two stages: 1. An initial review and recommendations (this project) 2. UI mockups and web design library for the agreed way forward The scope of this project is: - review the existing software and identify a prioritised list of improvements that need to be made - put together examples of how it could/should be (anything - sketches, mockups, pintrest board - just to convey ideas) - present a report of recommendations and scope of next phase with estimate of effort required

Android App Design (10 Screens)
We require 10 screens designing for a new upcoming app. This will include: - Signup Screen - Login Screen - Email confirmation screen - Android sidebar menu design - Details screen (this will display information and images with some buttons) - List screen (this displays a list of items with images / titles / descriptions) - Review screen (where users are able to write reviews) - Image upload screen (where users are able to upload images) - Design of multiple icons to be used throughout the app The app is an outdoor type adventure app. We do not require logo design as we already have one (attached). We have a basic colour scheme to adhere to but further than this is up to the designer. A full specification of each screen will be available in JIRA as separate tickets once we have chosen a successful candidate. Successful completion of this job will likely lead to future work for us.
I need a UI Designer to design multiple dashboards for an MVP
Industry: Technology Kind of design: Single web page Description of every page: Section 1: Are we releasing value to our customers ? - Line graph (over time) showing value points finished vs value points released - X axis : time (in sprints, weeks or months depending on the project) - Y axis : value points (if recorded, otherwise) story points (if recorded, otherwise) stories Section 2 : How often are we releasing ? (Release Velocity) - Number of releases to date; average/median days between releases - Could be continuous Section 3 : How fast are the team moving (Sprint Velocity) Section 4: Are there any bottlenecks ? - Single bar chart showing mean cycle time (days) a story sits in each state : backlog|in progress|pre-release - Compare to average cycle times (14-21|14|7) - Ability to also show volume waiting at each state (high = blockage; low = starvation) Section 5 : Are the team working well together ? - Venn Bubble Chart showing each member and their overlap (in stories). Size represents work done. - Shows dominance of certain team members and their cooperation Section 6: Is the team under resource pressure ? - Team Churn (% team joining/leaving each sprint) - Team Size (Number of active members per sprint) See the existing 'Dashboard' here : http://app.projectradar.co.uk/5d676d33-9886-4af5-a141-85caac0ea7b2/dashboard You can browse this example (real-world) project to see the underlying metrics A reworked dashboard (our poor attempt at getting this done) is here : http://app.projectradar.co.uk.s3-website-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/dashboard-3.html Ideas for the visual style: Use bootstrap template provided (Nifty 2.6) Website url: www.projectradar.co.uk Extra notes: We have an MVP product that consumes information from Jira, Git, Jenkins etc and produces metrics that project/programme managers can use to make decisions (see http://www.projectradar.co.uk). We generate hundreds of metrics across all parts of a project and want to consolidate them into several dashboards. For MVP we are concentrating on 2 variations on a Project/Product Dashboard (one for waterfall, one for iterative projects). We know how to design the right charts for the dashboard (eg when to bar over line, never use pie/donut charts) but are not designers so we are having big trouble trying to show the minimal data required to convey the most information for the dashboard. The idea is that a user will be able to take one look across the project and see where the problems are, and delve down deeper into the analysis to make decisions. The skills needed are therefore more UI design and information presentation rather than data visualization, but if you have a grounding in both that will help. We intend to create further dashboards (for Multiple Projects, Project Scope, Team Maturity, Delivery Impacts) on the same theme, so this could be the start of something bigger.
