I am building a large agricultural building near Reading and I'm aware that to control rainfall drainage I will need to construct a Swale Not being a Civil Engineer, nor employing one in the planning process I need to work out how big, how deep the Swale needs to be. I'm told that most Engineers have access to a software product that allows you to input data and it tells you how big and how deep your Swale needs to be I'm looking for someone with access to this software who is happy to stand by their results when I put them to the Council for the Building Regulations The agricultural building is around 600 square metres in size. I understand we need to collect all the downpipes into one bigger pipe and let it flow into the swale.
