We are a UK-based travel company looking for an experienced freelance Travel Business Growth Manager to help us grow the business and increase enquiries and bookings. We already have the business infrastructure in place, including ATOL protection, TTA membership, a website, travel suppliers and a range of holiday products. However, we are looking for someone with strong experience in the travel industry who can review our current approach, identify what is not working and help us develop and implement a clear strategy for growth. The role will include reviewing our current products, pricing, website, marketing and sales process, identifying the best products and markets to focus on, overseeing our advertising strategy, improving lead generation and conversion, and helping develop the business commercially. We are particularly looking for someone who has: • Previous experience working with or managing a UK travel agency or tour operator • A strong understanding of travel sales, marketing and business development • Experience generating and converting travel enquiries into bookings • Knowledge of package holidays, suppliers and the UK travel industry • An understanding of Google Ads and Meta Ads and how to assess their performance • Experience developing and marketing group tours or tailor-made holidays Experience with TTA (The Travel Trust Association) would be highly desirable. Experience within Umrah travel, Muslim-friendly holidays, Islamic tours or group travel would also be a significant advantage. This is not simply a marketing or social media role. We are looking for someone who can look at the business as a whole, identify opportunities and problems, and actively work with us to increase sales and build a sustainable travel business. We would initially like to work with someone on a freelance/part-time basis, with the possibility of developing this into a longer-term working relationship if successful. I’m looking for a web developer to build Backpack with Pedro, a new travel-themed website centred around a free weekly interactive location-guessing game. I already have the branding, character/mascot, concept and visual mock-ups showing how I would like the website/game to look. I am looking for someone who can turn these designs into the real thing. The main concept: Each week, players are given three clues through our social media channels to Pedro’s mystery location somewhere in the world. They then use an interactive map covered by a grid to try to identify Pedro’s location. Players should be able to zoom/move around the map and select one individual grid square as their guess. Their selection should be recorded. Once a user clicks on a grid square, a pop up box needs to appear that asks for their "Full Name" and "Email Address" in order to submit their guess - these details should then automatically send to my email address, allowing me to verify the fastest correct answer.
