AI Travel Planning & Recommendation Platform

Hi, I’m interested in the travel platform, particularly the combination of AI itinerary generation, personalization and multiple travel-data integrations. Before submitting a detailed proposal, I’d like to clarify a few points about the current product stage, technical scope and delivery expectations:

1. Is there already an existing application/codebase, or would the successful developer be building the platform from the ground up?
2. If a codebase exists, what functionality has already been completed and what specifically remains for the first release?
3. Has the architecture and technology stack already been finalised, including the choice between Angular/React, SQL Server/PostgreSQL and AWS/Azure?
4. Which travel APIs have already been selected for flights, hotels, activities and restaurants, and do you already have active developer accounts/credentials?
5. For the AI functionality, do you already have defined prompts, recommendation logic and user-personalization requirements, or would designing this architecture be part of the developer's responsibility?
6. How should the platform handle live travel data such as flight availability, hotel pricing and restaurant/activity availability, particularly where external APIs return incomplete or changing information?
7. Is the initial objective an MVP with the core itinerary and recommendation functionality, or are all the listed features expected in the first production release?
8. Who is responsible for the product/UI/UX design, and are Figma designs or an established design system already available?
9. Will the developer be working alongside an existing product, design or engineering team, or would this be an end-to-end development role?
10. What level of testing, deployment and post-launch maintenance is expected, including CI/CD, monitoring and production support?
11. What is the expected timeline for the MVP/initial release, and is there a defined budget or milestone structure for the development?
12. Is the project fully approved and funded, and are you looking to appoint a developer immediately or still validating the technical approach and requirements?

Are you currently looking for an estimated cost for the complete platform, or do you already have a fixed budget allocated? Also, have you selected any APIs/providers for live flight, hotel and activity data?
