Description
I'm not great with Wordpress, but have a number of clients who have asked me to provide a wordpress site, I've just adjusted the code in the standard templates, and added plugins, so they can have cart functionality, it's very restricting as a designer/ developer though.
I would like to be able to design and code my sites but give them over to the client with Wordpress as a CMS- Unless you can advise of a better CMS system.
I am also much better with HTML CSS, design and Illustration than Jquery, so having someone who can use arrays, and move stuff around the dom in a really clean sharp way, would be useful too, as I could focus on what i'm good at but expand my pool of potential clients, offering them something unique and to meet their needs.
So I need someone who could take on some of the back end work, basically:
Wordpress/ CMS
Javascript/J query
Could you to look at my site, and tell me if you could recode/ adjust it for Wordpress. There's some JQqerry I've hand coded (and not necessarily efficiently) to make the Portfolio section function the way I wanted.
Ideally I'd want to be able to just add further sections to the portfolio and its navigation within the Wordpress CMS section. It would mean that the background image, copy within the section, the thumbnails and the large images would all need to be able to be entered into the CMS system.
I'm using my site as a test, as It's the only way to find someone who I can be confident I can work with and not end up in a mess with clients later on.
Please see www.treaclestudios.com
To clarify what I need and make sure everyone reading this is aware of the functionality:
The portfolio section works by :
switching out a background image and highlighting the relevant nav item.
the side bar on the nav section changes the content that is then displayed when it is clicked
Desktop:
Information icon brings up the info for the portfolio item as an overlay with a scrollbar if needed.
Tabbing through the nav updates the Info
Picture icon brings up a full screen gallery with thumbnails and main images (covering the nav)
clicking outside the overlay closes the gallery.
mobile (scale window to view):
both Info icon and Picture icon are full screen covering the nav.
clicking the close icon closes the overlay.
A right arrow appear to the right of the nav to allow scrolling of the nav bar when clicked (bad UI but nevermind for now..)
Responsive.
The page generally has mobile optimised images for everything.
So I am assuming that when bidding for this job, you are aware of this and agreeing to it.
(because my client would have) And my reputation would be at stake.
Could I please Ask that anyone who feels they need to adjust their bid, to do so.
Thanks
Alex

You want to recode the design or functionality?
If design share example reference and if it is code share list functionality?
RegardsAjh Creative 04 Apr 2017I want to replicate the Site as it is, Introducing a backend CMS so the portfolio and the header animation can be updated without touching the code,
