Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We manage a spread trading membership website targeting mainly UK members (70%).
We are just about to begin development on a new website. One area of the website will be a news/events section, so we are looking for someone to write for us. This is web and newsletter content work.
Specifically, you will be an article writer with the experience or the skill to research one or two subjects of interest every 2 weeks. You will have a list of 'favourite' places to go and get industry news, and create your artcles from that.
Each article will be around one half of one A4 page.
Readers will be asked to vote on each article, the results will affect future work.
We will work on a fixed price per article.
We pay monthly by Paypal straight to your account.
You will create 2 articles per week initially, though this may develop as the new website beds down. You will be given the opportunity to increase workload, or we can source another writer.
You will have the option of being credited for the work as a writer for our website, which will assist you in securing other writing projects.
The company CEO is a professionally trained writer (marketing copy) so will assist and evaluate all works initially.
Your day to day contact will be the site Ass. Editor, available by telephone and email for discussions.
Your subject matter will be up to you generally, though we may have a specific project from time to time.
You will deliver the work in WORD format on an agreed day every 2nd week to the Assistant Editor.
There will be numerous opportunities to add your skill to our development in tems of writing longer articles and assisting with corporate writing projects as the site develops.
This is a role for someone that has the ability to work alone, to deliver by deadlines and most importantly the ability to write informative, relevant and toimely articles for a fast growing business.
