Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am hoping to make contact with an experienced web developer who is interested in working in partnership with me on two projects. Both projects have considerable commercial potential and multiple sources of revenue generation. I can not offer an up front fee but I am offering between 20-30% of any profits, year on year for the life of the websites.
I would hope to form an Ltd or LLP or other form of partnership to formalise the agreement.
Project 1
This is a website that%u2019s aimed at students. It has a range of services, information pages and a retail area. It%u2019s well on its way to completion and all of the content is written and up loaded. It%u2019s very straight forward and I probably could finish it myself but it%u2019ll be so much better if it%u2019s finished off by someone who knows what they%u2019re doing! For an experienced professional web designer I%u2019d guess that it%u2019d be less that a week%u2019s work to complete it.
Project 2
This seems to me to be much more complicated but, again, to a web designer it%u2019s probably really straight forward. I%u2019ve written a detailed plan for the site and done a good deal of planning and background work but I don%u2019t have the technical skills to go any further.
The site needs an area where visitors can create password protected accounts and enter information and photos. Then there needs to be a search/browse facility so that other visitors can use this information. I%u2019d like to have a feedback system, maybe a star rating or something. Also, ideally I%u2019d like the facility to place content-specific advertising on pages.
I think these are really good sites and, like I say, my research so far indicates that they have a strong audience and good commercial value. I hope someone will join me in a partnership to exploit their potential. Any questions please ask, thanks.
