Introduction:
Jargon Public Relations, www.jargonpr.com, is looking for a web site designer to design and maintain the company’s web site.
About Jargon Public Relations:
In June 2008 Simon Corbett launched Jargon Public Relations as a PR agency focusing on technology companies who were looking to raise their profile throughout the UK media. Since the company was launched several consumer clients have been won and the original web site is now inaccurate and outdated.
What do we want?
Jargon Public Relations has three client types, these are i) consumer companies, ii) corporate and technology organisations, iii) SME’s, and the web site will need to reflect the variety of clients we have.
We would like to include some basic information about our business, i.e. who we are, what we do, how we do it, etc, and have the text pre-written. We would also like to begin an e-newsletter and would like an opt-in box where interested visitors can leave their e-mail address, which can be received by the team and added to the monthly e-mail list.
The site will also contain PDf’s that visitors can download; these are of magazines pages that feature our clients and will be used in order to showcase our skills and the results we have achieved. We are very proud of our client list and would like to showcase a selection of our clients on the home page • potentially involving a revolving set of images containing the logos.
Other Information
A web site address, www.jargonpr.com and web space is already purchased. The successful supplier will need to design the website and once approved, upload it and replace the existing site. The ISP used is UK2.net.
The successful supplier will also be asked to update the web site periodically, adding new client logos, more examples of our success (PDf’s to download) and refreshing the text (supplied by Jargon Public Relations).
Timescale and Budgets
We would like the successful supplier to begin immediately and aim to have a new web site up within the next three/four weeks. The budget for the project is between £250 - £500, depending on the complexity of the ideas/designs suggested and their time to complete. Ongoing updates will be budgeted for separately.
The Successful Supplier Will:
- Provide evidence of the web sites they have previously designed
- Provide an indication of the budget needed
- Provide guidance regarding the timescale needed to complete the web site
- Provide a customer reference (not needed initially)
