Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Ecommerce website required for a lifestyle fashion business. Potentially also a 'bricks & mortar' shop if can find a suitable location but for now the website needs to be stand alone.
We will stock T-shirts, shorts, fleeces, shirts, jumpers, flip flops, bags, accessories, etc. Our aim is to create a friendly, fun, interesting shopping experience which appeals to everyone. We do not want to create a website (or shop) which is intimidating and people feel they have to be a cool dude to visit. We will be marrying up the obvious brands (Billabong, Quiksiler, Roxy) with the some less obvious ones which we feel are complementary and will appeal to our customers (e.g Alpinestars and Money Genes).
The site we feel will have 2 main elements; a Blog and an e-commerce section. Along side these we will need pages for the companies history, contact us, friends of the companies and brands guides.
We need the site to be built in a recognised system, have a CMS system for us to be able to keep the blog and other sections updated on a regular basis and an intuitive e-commerce section which is easy to search for customers (by mens/womens, type and brand) and with as few clicks as possible from selection of item to purchase point. The home page will need to feature the blog and prominent sections to click through to the e-commerce part (e.g.1-featured brand, 2-new stock 3-bargain).
We will want to use extensive social networking to drive traffic so advice would be useful on this, plus also to try and ensure the site is optimised from the outset for natural search.
Hopefully that is enough information for now but please ask any questons via People per Hour if you have some.
We would prefer quotes from people/companies based in Hertfordshire or Central London.
Please also indicate what system (s) you will propose to use, a timescale, price (including the hourly or day rate you are applying, where you are based and links to your portfolio.
