Description
Experience Level: Expert
Num. of articles: 1
Information for the blog/website: A people consultancy who work specifically with creative agencies
Topic: Leadership, talent strategies, business growth
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: We need a specialist writer for a client who provide talent management services to large Creative Agencies in the UK. The client describe themselves as a 'People Consultancy', who work with agencies to improve how people operate within the business to facilitate growth. This includes developing talent strategies, high-performance coaching, training and executive search.
The type of businesses they work with are agencies like those in the WPP group. To be able to write for this client, you will need to have a foot in both camps - people management, leadership and development, but also the creative sector more generally. You should be a reader of publications like The Drum, Brand Republic, Campaign, Design Week, Moreaboutadvertising etc, so you understand the topics that leaders in these agencies are interested in.
Each month, we need content for 30 Twitter posts - these will be interesting curated articles that will both represent what the client stands for, and be of interest to the target audience - leaders of creative agencies. Topics might include things like diversity, management structures, future-proofing the industry, leadership challenges etc.
We will also need you to create an editorial calendar for the next six months, which we will provide guidance with. We will then need you to write one blog post per month. We have existing content for you to take style and tone from. We don't think in terms of word counts as we think that quantity and quality are very different things, but expect each post to be approx 1000 (some will be less, some will be more).
The client loves things like great Ted Talks which challenge traditional leadership models. They are very anti content that is too dry, or overtly 'recruitment' focused. Whilst they offer executive search, they have a much more tailored approach to tackling management challenges and don't want to be seen as the same as every other exec search agency.
I can provide you with a list of articles that we have sent them that they have loved, and likewise, samples that they have not liked so much.
UK based writers only please.
Extensive research needed: yes
