Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Design details: # Acquire Digital Wayfinder
Our wayfinder software allows users to load a 3D model of a location and create their own destinations, routes, labels etc.
The resulting software can then be deployed to large format touch screens allowing customers / clients etc to search & navigate to their desired destination.

# Brief
We require a 3D model to be created of a shopping centre in the USA for use with our wayfinder software.
The source map for the model can be found here:
http://eastontowncenter.com/portals/0/pdf/e_dir_20171108_v02_web.pdf
http://eastontowncenter.com/directory-map
We require that the entire shopping centre is modeled along with a base texture that includes the roads and road names.
There are two floors to this map, so we will require 2 models.
## Details
We only require that the buildings and shops are modeled.
The buildings and shop meshes should be simple in shape, as per the PDF map.
The shops do not need names, as we add those in software, but some "Flagship stores" will need logos.
We do not require the shop internals to be modeled, just that the shops are separate meshes. This is so that we can highlight the shops in our software, and apply name labels.
We would like clearly defined internal and external walls and entrances to the internal sections of the mall modeled as well.
The colour scheme should be muted, but follow the shopping mall brand. Think google maps rather than a theme park.

## Notes & Tips
**Textures:**
- WRAP, CLAMP and TILE modes supported
- PNG or JPG, alpha channel supported (diffuse map)
**Lighting:**
- Diffuse, Ambient, Emission and Specular.
- No bump/lighting/specular mapping support
**Buildings/Rooms:**
- Each building must be a separate named mesh/object within the file and have a unique material
- Each material should have the same name as the mesh/object (above) that is using it
- Vertex count – the smaller the better as it is real-time rendering
- Overlapping surfaces – might need slight gaps to prevent Z-Fighting in the renderer
- the unique meshes/stores are "grouped" ('g' in the obj file)
- not a single "object" ('o' in the obj file) should be present in the file
Ideas for the visual style: Google maps, but on brand with Easton Mall.
