Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
You'll be doing short (under 500 words) "Lonely Planet" style descriptions of cities and countries. Most will be very straightforward, just compiling together the results of what you find online.
$1/100 words. (Plus a little bit extra, more on that in a sec.)
This will be a large job, with dozens or hundreds of descriptions to be done.
You'll be working for a demanding client: I've written more than 1300 articles myself, I am a native English speaker with a US university degree, and I respect and expect quality.
I do not expect you to spend a lot of time doing in-depth research, but I do expect you to be able to produce natural and grammatically correct English without difficulty.
This is not a job for beginners who write slow -- it's my goal to pay you the equivalent of $15 an hour, assuming 20 minutes for a 500 word article. (That means your "instinctive English" needs to be perfect, and what comes out of your fingers needs minimal or no editing.)
I also cover payment processing fees so you don't have to.
