I'm looking for an experienced Virtual Assistant, with a 'can-do' attitude to join our remotely based team on an ongoing basis. Although initially it will be for 2 hours a day, you'll need to be flexible as there will be periods where workload entails longer hours. There will be lots of room for your creativity to shine.
Responsibilities will include:
* Project manage client projects & content contributors (remotely)
* Follow up and chase overdue tasks from clients and our freelance team
* Speak with clients and freelancers via Skype Out (call costs reimbursed), IM via HipChat
* Develop the team, adding new talent as required
* Other ad-hoc tasks as required
You'll be expected to use Skype (audio and video) with myself, clients and other team members. Daily communication is a prerequisite.
Above all you'll be highly organised, calm under pressure, reliable and used to beating deadlines. Your ability to problem solve and act on your own initiative is an important trait I'm looking for, as is your ability to reach out and ask when you're unsure.
Your online research skills and ability to articulate findings in writing will be well honed and you'll have an excellent command of verbal and written English.
Your openness to learning new skills and your ability to learn fast have been key to your success thus far.
Knowledge / experience in content marketing would be an advantage.
Our remote team collaborates using TeamWork, Skype, HipChat, Join.me, Google docs/Drive and Jing (screencasting). We will provide you with a Gmail login to our business account as well as all the tools we use.
You must have:
- A proven track record (please provide reviews)
- Prior experience in managing projects and people
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to multi-task and take on multiple projects
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communications skills and attention to detail a must
- Have references or an established reputation on PPH preferred
- Be accessible, online and during agreed-upon office hours
- Fast, reliable, broadband internet connection
- Solid understanding of the Internet and online communication tools
