Hi there.
I just need someone to write a small piece of AJAX/PHP code for me. It will be used on a Zen Cart store as a simple postcode checker. I\'ll provide a list of 25 UK postcodes to which my client delivers along with the price for delivery to each one. There are only 3 different prices.
In reality, if this can be set up with perhaps 5 postcodes as an example, I can add the correct data.
I want it to use AJAX so there\'s no page reloading. It happens on the current page.
The user simply enters their postcode in a text box and hits the \'go\' button.
The code then checks their postcode against the list and returns either \'yes we deliver to XXX and it costs £YYY\' or \'sorry, we don\'t deliver to your location yet\'.
We only use the outbound part of the postcode, so TA21 8JB gets stripped down to TA21. That\'s all we need to check.
I think for neatness, the code should therefore strip out the inbound part of the code (8JB as shown above), remove spaces and convert to uppercase.
All of this needs to happen in the top right box on my Zen Cart store: www.mancinelli.co.uk
I think it would be neat if the text above the box got replaced with the response from the code. I can do the css styling etc as I\'m not entirely useless.
Thanks
