Description
Experience Level: Expert
Industry: Healthcare
Kind of design: Theme/template
Ideas for the visual style: typographical, simple, shart colour scheme,
Things to avoid: over-designed, mascots, etc.
Website url: fgsworkshop.org
Website information: International Scientific Conference on Neglected Tropical Diseases: Female Genital Schistosomiasis and its impact on HIV/AIDS
Extra notes: I need a typographical logo (or mostly typographical, minimalist/neat) for a Medical Health Conference , as well as the styles for the conference's website. (Including suggested fonts/colour schemes, etc). We're looking for an overall, holistic style guide for the event, which will eventually also guide the design of letter heads, html emails (on Mail Chimp), event publications, etc.
The website itself will be super simple, landing page only, and eventually a few navigable elements (about us, conference programme, etc). I will be developing the website in Wordpress, and will use your designs/design elements in putting it together. Am only asking for style guide and logo/colour scheme, not web development, from you. Delivery in major PSD/AI formats.
The design should be minimalistic, with a smart use of themed colours. It's for the corporate/medical sector. No clutter or kitch. You're welcome to take inspiration from the 'medical health' theme (the conference is in neglected diseases, specifically female genital schistosomiasis and its relationship to HIV/AIDS). However please no crosses with snakes climbing up them.
I'm happy for you to pitch in addition to design particular elements as part of your delivered package (ie: letter heads, html email templates, etc) if you wish to take on these extra elements in an effort to cohere the project to your style guide. Not necessary however.
Thanks a lot.
J.
