Description of Business Development: Text ‘n More specialises in translating and localising marketing messages and collateral, websites and software. We are looking for a Business Development Partner/Agent with an understanding of professional translation and localisation services to develop the UK and/or USA and/or Western and Northern Europe client base across various sectors. As a sales professional, the Translation Business Development Partner will need to demonstrate persistence as well as innovative ways to make contact with senior level clients and win new accounts.
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience within the Translation industry in a sales role
At least 3 years of Business Development Management experience in B2B
Previous cold calling and face to face client meeting experience
The ability to accurately assess customers’ needs
The ability to identify problems and take decisions to solve them
Experience of handling the full sales cycle of high value accounts
Proven track record of sales
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
An excellent professional presentation
Native or near native level of English
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation.
Plan approaches and pitches.
Develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs.
Cold call and email
Handle objections using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
